About Us
Owner: Jac Winters

Jac joined the Latitudes team in 2021, needing a change from the food service industry. She instantly realized this was more than just a job, but a life-changing, global experience of treating every single person with dignity and respect.
After 5 years with the business, Jac took over as owner of the Staunton store in December 2025. Jac lives just outside of downtown Staunton with her husband, four cats, and cocker spaniel named Bean.
"I love having the opportunity of explaining Fair Trade to our customers and community as well as seeing the impact our small town store can make because of the hardworking artisans around the globe."
Manager: McKaila Bees

McKaila has been part of the Latitudes team since February 2023. At the time, she was searching for a second job to help pay the bills, but what she found was so much more. A now full-time position as store manager and a passion for a business model that puts partnership and respect at the forefront of its mission.
McKaila currently lives just outside of downtown Staunton with her partner, their cats Scrappy and Tink, and their beautiful husky/lab mix, Bailey.
"The ability to open people’s eyes to Fair Trade, where artisans are treated with dignity, paid fairly and genuinely valued for their hard work and dedication, is something that I cherish about this job and a huge reason why I enjoy coming to work every day."
Founder: Anna Schoenduby
Anna opened the Staunton
store in 2015, inspired by her mom's success with the Warrenton store. Before Latitudes, she organized short-term study abroad programs for universities. Opening Latitudes married Anna's passions for travel, shopping, and making a difference.
In 2024, Anna moved to Warrenton to be close to family. A year later, after 10 years in business, Anna handed over the reins to focus on her family.
Anna is forever grateful for the joy Latitudes brought her and the impact it continues to make in the local and global community. She now lives in Warrenton with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
