Online Store Policies
At Latitudes, we care deeply about the experience you have with us and aim to make your shopping experience smooth, personal, and enjoyable. Below you’ll find all the details you need to know about shipping, returns, in-store pickup, and more. Thanks for shopping small and supporting fair trade!
Shipping
- Orders have a 1-2 day processing time before shipping. Exceptions include holidays, store closures, and other events. If you have a question about processing or shipping times, email staunton@latitudesfairtrade.com.
- FREE shipping on orders over $100 before tax to the contiguous 48 U.S. states.
- On orders under $100, enjoy standard shipping for $6 or priority shipping for $15.
- We do not ship internationally at this time.
- We reuse clean packing materials (like boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, etc.) whenever possible to reduce waste.
In-Store Pickup
- In-store pickup is available only at our Staunton, VA location.
- Orders are usually ready for pickup the next business day, unless the store is closed for regular hours or holidays.
- You will receive a pickup confirmation email when your order is ready. Please wait for this email before coming to pick up.

When picking up:
- Call (540) 887-9670 when you arrive.
- We’ll bring your order to your car or you can come inside to collect it from the counter.
Note: Online orders cannot be picked up at any other Latitudes location. All inventory online is from the Staunton, VA location and cannot be picked up or returned to any other location.
Returns & Exchanges
We are confident you will love your purchase, but if something isn't right, we have a 30-day return policy. Not all items are returnable, and returns must follow the process below.
How to Start a Return:
- All return requests must be emailed to: staunton@latitudesfairtrade.com
- Do not send any returns back without approval. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
- Requests must be made within 30 days of the delivery date (based on tracking).
What Can Be Returned:
✅ Returns are allowed if:
- The item is in new, unused condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered, odor-free, no damage or signs of wear).
- You email us within 30 days of delivery.
- The item was not discounted or marked down.
- You received the wrong item or the item was damaged in shipping (photo proof required within 3 days of delivery).
Once a return is approved via email, we will provide return instructions.
What Cannot Be Returned:

Any discounted item, including markdowns, sales, holiday promotions, or special offers.
👉 If you paid less than the original price, the item is considered FINAL SALE — no exceptions. - Grocery or food items.
- Used items, including anything worn, washed, altered, damaged, or with odors/stains.
- Returns shipped without prior approval.
*We reserve the right to deny a return if the item does not meet our return criteria.
Return Shipping:
- If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping.
- In all other approved cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refunds:
- Refunds are processed within 2 business days of receiving and approving your return.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method and may take 3–5 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
Payments & Gift Cards
- Local store coupons, gift certificates, and store credit are valid only in person at the store they were issued from. At this time, they do not work online.
- Loyalty points do not apply to online purchases.
