East Africa Coffee

This dark and balanced blend packs a punch and a distinct flavor profile with notes of toasted pecan, dried fruit, and dark chocolate that combines all the delicious coffee flavors East Africa is known for.

It’s a coffee that is fantastic in a drip brew, but a knock-out in a French Press. Powerful enough to work on its own, but pairs well with cream and/or sugar if that’s your thing.

Why is there a bike on the package?

No matter what country you’re in in East Africa, bicycles are a staple. In big cities or remote countryside the bicycles in Africa put Amsterdam to shame. African bicycles transport anything and everything, including fresh milk to be pasteurized and you know it - coffee!

Certified Fairtrade, organic, and small batch roasted in Victoria, BC.

At Level Ground their premium coffee has been intentionally crafted at every stage. It starts with a focus on sourcing. Great coffee is grown on small-scale, family-owned farms and sold through cooperatives that invest in their communities. They roast in small batches and blend to produce the most delicious cups of coffee.  This is their craft and each farmer they work with and everyone who brews Level Ground is also a crafter.
