2025 Impact Snapshot

It's always exciting to look back and see how far we've come, but this year feels extra special. We've witnessed a lot of uncertainty and experienced many challenges this year, from economic disruption to global trade issues, but we are grateful, at the end of the day, to never give up on what matters.

Fair trade is still creating positive change. New artisan partnerships, new job opportunities, and a switch to more sustainable production, to name a few. All of this is change that wouldn't be possible without people like you who shop their values and believe in making a difference. 

While every day brings its own challenges, each day has also brought a whole lot of good. Let's take a look.

Every year, your purchases impact hundreds of artisans in over 40 countries. We keep a map in the shop with pins marking where all the artisan groups are located. It's only fitting to share one here as well.

If you follow along on social media, you've seen us highlight different artisan groups and share the real ways their work changes lives from healthcare and education to market access and job training.

Each artisan group benefits from fair trade in unique ways, but all are strengthened by greater market access. Transparency and communication allow artisans to connect with new customers, accessing more areas with a need for their products, and in turn creating more sustainable jobs and growth. As members of the Fair Trade Federation, we are proud to join others working to make that access possible.

While fair trade has a wide impact, we see firsthand how important fair trade work is for women around the world. We partner with survivors of trafficking, new mothers, and women who didn't previously have access to safe work. Because of fair trade, these women can support their families, stay with them, and create lasting change in their communities.
