Why Visit Latitudes Fair Trade For Queen City Mischief and Magic

This year, the annual Queen City Mischief and Magic festival in downtown Staunton, VA is September 26 - 27. Thousands of people come together to explore the city as it transforms into a magical place.

People join from far and wide, many dressed as their favorite magical characters, dragons, mermaids, witches, and wizards. If you've never been to Latitudes Fair Trade, this is a great weekend to check us out, and here's why.

Fantastical Fair Trade

  1. The Experience.
Between the good vibes of fair trade and the energy of the festival, this is truly a magical time to visit. We're located in a historic building in the middle of downtown Staunton. After shopping with us, you are right next to food, coffee, workshops, and more.

  2. See it ALL.
Alongside our regular offerings, including home goods, decor, and clothing, you can also check out our ornament wall, magical-inspired goods, and more! Even if you're only in town for one day, we want you to get the most out of it!

  3. First In Line.
Our products are handmade in small-batches. If you see something you like, this is the time to get it. It may not be around for long. Anything that can be restocked can be found here on the website once you get home, or is a quick phone call away. Yes, we ship!

  4. Ethical Shopping.
When you shop fair trade, you support fair wages, no forced labor, safe work environments, and sustainable practices for artisans in over 40 countries. It's like magic, but there are zero tricks, just real people earning a living wage.

As you can see, this is a great time to visit, but we are grateful every time you shop! We wish we could wave a wand and end unethical labor practices, because the reality can be really heavy. That's why we are so glad every time you shop with us. You become part of the solution and help build a better world. No magic needed. (Though tap-to-pay is kind of magic, right?)
