What is Fashion Revolution Week?

  • Thirteen years ago, over 1,100 people died in the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh.

  • This disaster was completely avoidable. Illegal construction and blatant disregard of safety were to blame. They were aware of large cracks in the foundation.

  • At 8 stories high, housing 5 garment factories, the structure inevitably collapsed in on itself on April 24, 2013.

  • This week is a reminder of those lost and urges both companies and customers to care. It's time to ask, #WhoMadeMyClothes?
