In honor of Plastic-Free July, we're hosting the giveaway event Staunton, Sustainably!

How It Works:

• Pick up or print out a signature sheet (on or after 7/1).
• Visit or shop at the participating, values-focused shops and nonprofits.
• Get a signature at each place you visit.
• Drop off your signature sheet at Latitudes Fair Trade by 7/31. That's it!
• See official rules below*.

Even if you get a signature at just one place, you are entered! The more signatures on your sheet, the more entries you have in the giveaway. (i.e., 5 signatures = 5 entries)

Yes, there is only ONE winner. We hope you have fun and do the shopping you would already be doing, but at sustainably focused shops! Since it's the first year, we look forward to your feedback!

 

Starting July 1st, you will be able to pick up a signature sheet at Latitudes Fair Trade or print it at home.

Don't Forget:

• The number of signatures you get is your number of entries. You only NEED one to enter, but the more you get, the higher the chance of winning!
  
  
• You can turn your signature sheet in at any time during July, but ALL sheets are due by 5pm July 31, 2026 at Latitudes Fair Trade.

Who is Shenandoah Green?

Shenandoah Green is a non-partisan, grass-roots organization, working with local and scientific stakeholders to create an environmentally sustainable community through education, action, and advocacy.

They work in many areas including:

• Planting trees
• Cigarette butt clean-ups
• Raising plastic awareness
• Volunteer-run public composting stations
• Reusable tableware available to borrow for events

Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia who are 18 years of age or older. Void outside Virginia and where prohibited by law.

Entry Period: 10 AM 7/1/26 through 5 PM 7/31/26

HOW TO ENTER

Participants may enter by

Participants may receive one (1) entry for each participating location visited during the entry period. Each participating location qualifies for one (1) entry per participant, up to a maximum of twelve (12) entries per person.

No purchase is required to receive an entry. Purchases do not increase the number of entries a participant may receive.

WINNER SELECTION

One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, and the odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

All eligible entries have an equal chance of winning. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules may be disqualified.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion if necessary. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.
